Terms & cancellation policy

By completing and signing the registration form - online or in print - the authorising signatory, on behalf of the stated company, accepts the terms and conditions set out here.

Please provide delegate information exactly as it should appear on name tags and certificates.

Payment must be made within 5 working days of the invoice date unless agreed otherwise prior to confirmation of booking.

Full payment must be received prior to the event. Only fully paid-up delegates will attend, unless agreed otherwise with the Federated Management Institute.

For bank transfers, state your full names and the payment reference clearly on the transfer, and email a copy of the deposit receipt with your registration. Bank charges are for your own account and should be stipulated to your bank.

All cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to the following conditions.

A charge of 50% of the registration fee, plus a R899 (excluding VAT) administrative charge, applies to cancellations received in writing at least 14 working days prior to the event.

For cancellations received less than 7 working days before the date of the event, the full fee is payable and no refunds will be given, except credit notes.

If a registered delegate does not cancel and fails to attend, it is treated as a cancellation and no refund or credit note is issued.

Delegate substitution is welcome at any time with no additional charge.

Please notify the Federated Management Institute in writing of any such change at least 4 days before the event.

Speakers and topics are confirmed at the time of publishing. Circumstances beyond the control of the organisers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of speakers and/or topics.

The Federated Management Institute reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated and communicated to registered delegates as soon as possible.

All published fees are per delegate and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is added at the prevailing South African rate at checkout.

Fees for delegates outside South Africa may be settled in the USD equivalent by arrangement.

Course fees cover tuition, course material and, where stated, the certification examination. Travel and accommodation are excluded unless expressly included in the programme description.

Card and Instant EFT payments are processed by PayFast. Card details are entered on PayFast's secure environment and are never captured, transmitted or stored by this website.

Confirmation of a registration paid by card is issued once PayFast confirms the transaction.
